I've been a little frusterated lately with some other local real estate professionals.  I am tired of hearing everyone complaining about their business or lack there of.  We all know its not as easy as it used to be.  Heck i wasn't even in real estate when things were "good." 
If people would get off their butts and do something and by something I mean the right thing, we'd all be much better of.  I recently got a call from some people who didn't even realize they were under contract to buy land.  The agent whisked them in, had them signing things, … (5 comments)

Do we have open houses because we want to or because we are trying to keep our sellers happy?
Not a single person (except realtor friends) has come to my last three open houses.  I've sent out flyers paid $$$$ for ads and gotten a whole lot of nothing.  I even bought food for the last open house.  With about an hour left i started eating because the food was so expensive.  I left with no leads and a full stomach.
