I found this big friendly black lab running through the front of my neighborhood and across a busy road last February. I brought him home as he had a collar but no identification. We have a yellow lab and once she established the pecking order she had a blast with him ( she comes from a large family). I was actually kinda hoping we would not find his owners as he was such a sweetheart. Very well behaved and a good companion for Carly. I wrote a blog post about him.

The Clayton Area Chamber of Commerce is on Main Street in Downtown Clayton, they are located in the classiest building on Main Street in what used to be a bank. The building which is listed with the National Register of Historic Places. Inside you can see the old vault, along with tons of information about Clayton and Johnston County.

This Beautiful Custom Built home in Clayton, North Carolina sold on Christmas Eve, now that's what I call a Christmas present.That was one happy builder signing the contract on Christmas Eve morning at 10.30am. We chatted about the real estate market and what sort of inquires they were getting. This could be two posts as the building they are in is a historic old bank building. The Town of Clayton in North Carolina purchased some land recently and plan on turning it into an off leash  dog park. The work has begun on the site which is located on Glen Laurel Road and will be across from the new East Clayton Community Park. The approximately three acre site will have parking, fencing, and equipment for the little pooch's to run around to their hearts content.
