Star Wars in Concert at The RBC Center in Raleigh Was Awesome.
We took the boys to the Star Wars in Concert show at the RBC Center last week end and it was magic. Actually we tricked them by telling them we had been given free tickets to a hockey game (not big sports fans!). There was the usual whining whenever they are taken away from their friends and so when we arrived at the stadium, Kelly pointed to the sign "Star Wars in Concert". The weather was perfect which is the nice thing about the St Patrick's Day Parade in the South, it's warmer!


 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
We took our spot on the newly renovated Fayetteville Street and another thing about this parade, there aren't the crowds you get in the bigger cities, so grab a coffee from Port City Java and bask in the sun. This was one of the better ones I've seen here in Raleigh with a … (1 comments)

Raleigh North Carolina on a Fall Sunday Morning.

 

This is North Carolina State University's campus on a recent Sunday where my wife and I go and have coffee. It's beautiful and there are days when we won't see another soul for an hour. I imagine it has something to do with a football game the day before and possible a beer or two.

Downtown Raleigh Condo.
This is a one of a kind condo in The Velvet Cloak Inn in Downtown Raleigh which is being converted to condos. It is two units combined and features a huge living room and kitchen,large bedroom that could sleep two college mates and two full bathrooms.
The rent of $900 covers all the utilities except for long distance phone calls. So you get cable, high speed internet, heat and ac, electric, water, trash,local phone calls. There are two parking spots in a gated parking lot and the condo is right next door to the new YMCA.
