May 2012 Real Estate market update for California - 06/27/12 11:31 AM
Low inventory is the recurring theme in this latest update from the C.A.R. (California Association of Realtors).  This is particularly true here in San Francisco and the Bay Area as a whole.  The coming summer season may (and I stress "may") show an increase in inventory, but that remains to be seen.  Typically, the summer months tend to relect "slower" activity here in the City with a robust resurgence after Labor Day weekend.  This year, however, has been tough to determine whether or not the traditional market trends will prevail.   I have a feeling this may be a busy summer.

USGA U.S. Open, Olympic Club in San Francisco - 06/16/12 12:26 PM
Well...we're in the final rounds of this year's U.S. Open at the Olympic Club in San Francisco.  Not the easiest course around, but the weather couldn't be better, and everyone is pretty happy about it.  I got a chuckle out of all the slipping and sliding some of the fans had to endure while maneuvering along some of the slopes surrounding the fairway. Hopefully no one was seriously injured.   Those grassy slopes can get pretty slick once you've had 20 thousand feet pounding the surface...I know!
Tickets, of course, are sold out, but there are plenty of places to catch … (10 comments)
