 Ever since I started playing with the imovie program on my Mac about a month ago , I've been squeezing in some video production time whenever I get the chance.  While my goal is to produce interesting and informational video that helps capture the essence of San Francisco, I find myself having the most fun when the production incorporates a montage of clips set to energetic music.  I admit...it's the "kid"-Artist inside me that keeps me glued to the editing chair.  I laugh at times when I find myself whipping out my phone to record video wherever I am...and often while … (32 comments)

This is the part that I've been supporting since we took that 180 degree "turn" a few years back.  There's a market for it, and if Shellpoint is willing to carry the paper, or sell in the secondary market and package them for what they are, this could be the "happy medium" to get things rolling again.  "The company said a typical borrower could include self-employed contractors and other professionals who have assets and a steady income stream. The self-employed have been the hardest-hit by bank credit-tightening trends."  It's time for common sense lending...or at least an alternative for those … (4 comments)

Some of you who follow my blog know my folks live within a reasonable driving distance, and of course it involves hopping onto a freeway (or two, depending on where I "launch").  Once I hit the on-ramp (especially on an "uncrowded" Sunday), it feels like I'm home free (literally).  I took this short clip a few weeks back, and added a little theme music that made me chuckle a bit.  It's perfect for today since that's the route I'll be taking as I head down the Peninsula.  Enjoy.

I met some friends last night at The Ramp for "Taco Tuesdays".  One of my favorite outdoor dives along the bay waterfront in the Dogpatch district of Potrero Hill.  When we left, I couldn't help but notice the how calm the night air was.  Since I had to cut across The Mission District to get home, I decided to take advantage of the twilight hour and capture a little of it on video.  Warm summer nights in The City are hard to beat.
