 Summer Time, Connecticut. ~ August, 2010

I'm so looking forward to the next four weeks of August here in Connecticut. Half the town seems to be away somewhere??? But where better than your own backyard, for me that's Fairfield County, Ct. We have great restaurants, outdoor concerts, wonderful beaches, theaters, local farmer's markets.......
Our garden is full of flowers, tomatoes, cucumbers, herbs, peppers.... it like having a farmer's market in your own back yard. The days are hot, the evenings are cool, hanging out on the front porch drinking lemonade.

Due to high demand, the Solar Lease Program was suspended as of December 31, 2009. On July 15, 2010 the Connecticut Clean Energy Fund announced a temporary reopening for approximately 100 new leases.

 The HES program is administered by utility companies, and Connecticut's Energy Efficiency programs are funded by a charge on customers of CL&P and UI electric bills. There are only 18 approved vendors who can do the HES program in CL&P territories. The Connecticut Energy Efficiency Fund is not a "state administered" program.
