Did you know that if you sell your house after 2012 you will pay a 3.8% sales tax on it to help pay for the ObamaCare bill? 
I recently received this from a seasoned real estate agent in a mass mailing, is it fact or fiction. As Realtor’s we have an obligation to pass along creditable information. Have you seen this e-mail, take a look below, what do you think is it fact or fiction?

The Darien Real Estate market has been busy with 15 new listings this week, 16 accepted offers and 6 Deposits. On top of that there were 11 closings with sale prices between $624,000 up to $2,410,000. Year to date there has been 72 single family homes closed recorded on the Darien MLS.

Sunday May 20th, 2012 turned out to a perfect sunny day for the William Pitt Sotheby’s Third Annual Modern House tour of mid-century moderns. There were 8 homes on tour some for sale (see below) and some just open to the public for the day. Some of the homes were designed by the famous New Canaan “Harvard Five”, associates and Frank Lloyd Wright’s top apprentice John Howe. Five of the homes were in New Canaan, one in each of Darien, Wilton and Weston.

We like to entertain and this recipe is perfect for it since you can prepare it before hand and then just a simple grill. Serve with herb rice or rustic bread is perfect. Enjoy.
We get our boneless leg of lamb from Costco, it usually comes 4 to 5 pounds and an affordable price of $5.99 per pound, and you will need to trim off the fat and tissue. Kebabs  1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
