With Arizona's birthday right around the corner there are plenty of Arizona themed events - but there are also many other reasons for people flocking to Arizona in January, including famous car auctions and world class golf events. Here are some great things to enjoy doing in Arizona in April.
This is the last weekend - April 2 & April 3 to visit The Arizona Renaissance Festival which features jousting tournaments, ongoing entertainment on the 12 theater stages, rides, arts and crafts and plenty of food. Located 7 miles east of Apache Junction on U.S. Highway 60.

Here is an update to the list of things to do in February...
One of my favorites (that was not on the original list!) is the Annual Chili Cook-off at Goldfield's Ghost Town in Goldfield (at the base of the Superstition Mountains). Bring your appetite - and bring your Tums:)) Here are some details: Saturday, February 19, 2011 - the 13th Annual Superstition Mountain Chili-Off - from 11:30 - 3:30. There are 4 Competions - Red Chili, Green Chili, People's Choice and Salsa.
