Last week I helped a CSU graduate student buy her first home. It was a foreclosure and needed some TLC. After a week I asked here how things were going. This was her response: Everything is going well. We definitely are neck deep and exhausted every night but we're slowly chipping away at everything. It's amazing what a fresh coat of paint can do and how much better the house smells since ripping up that carpet. Once again, thanks for all your help with getting the house. The US Senate has voted unanimously to extend the First time home buyers tax credit. This would extend the opportunity until well into the spring. Buyers have until April 30, 2010 to get a home under contract and June 30 to close! This is still pending House approval and Presidential signature but I WILL KEEP YOU POSTED! Several weeks ago I helped a young lady find a home here in Fort Collins. This week I checked in to see how things were, following her transaction.
