While I Play you Stay - 06/30/11 10:05 AM
I guess I should have expected the Blame Others game to continue, but I am continually surprised by it. HOW can Obama say he has been involved and engaged in fixing our dilemma?  He had allocated 1 1/2 hours to 3 meetings the other day and he considers that doing his job; of course these meetings had to be fitted into his 13 weeks of playing golf and his traveling around to raise funds for his campaign. OH, and his working on the Greece situation and finding Osama; what a crock.  While he is telling everyone he has been there, and Congress should not take a vacation but stay and do Their job, he … (9 comments)

Am I Being Too Picky Conserning Post Card Stamps - 06/23/11 10:35 AM
I know this may seem picky but I have to make a comment on the $.29 post card stamp;  Why are they Flowers?  Here I am with the cards I am sending out for the 4th of July, beautiful blue cards with an American Bald Eagle boldly watching over us.  And what stamp do I put in the corner, a pink Foxglove, blue Flax, or purple Lavender.
As I purchased my stamps I asked the gentleman behind the counter if there was anything patriotic in  post card stamps like there is in the $.44 regular stamp, which happens to be a lovely flag with stars & stripes?  After all we do celebrate … (8 comments)

I Am Impressed - 06/14/11 05:21 PM
Just heard Gov. Perry, from Texas, answer questions on Fox news Willis Report.  What a great guy!  Looks like a President, speaks like a President, answers questions directly (without "ah - ah- ahs" or a tela prompter), talks in simple understandable and clear sentences, and has a successful record.  Where has this guy been hiding?  I'm thinking this guy could debate Obama flawlessly. I hope some of you got to see this interview, I have to say I was impressed.

Good Morning...Here is today's market update from the Think Big Work Small Guys.  Today the boys are really on a roll about Jamie Dimon, from Chase, response to a question Ben Bernanke asked.  Jamie Dimon made a statement that the sub-prime lending problem can be fixed by getting rid of All Brokers.  Since Brokers are intermediaries how does this solve the problem, and since Chase continues to offer sub-prime loans, where is their accountability?

What Should Happen to Weiner? - 06/07/11 10:01 AM
I opened my AR this morning expecting to see posts on yesterdays press conference with Rep. Anthony Weiner and his chances of retaining his NY seat after his disclosure.  Watching Andrew Breitbart high jack the press conference, and later Wiener's confession kept me glued to my seat, something I rarily due.
Of course I feel terrible for his wife, but my second thought was What do the Dems do now? They crucify any Republican who has Ethics issues, and most step down from their positions.  With the elections starting to get into full swing, how can the Dems save their Point Guy, and will they try … (15 comments)

Hurray for the Supreme Court - 06/06/11 08:05 PM
The Supreme Court has voided the Third Court of Appeals ruling which had said the Immigration Law in Hazleton, Pa. was unconstitutional.  What the Supreme Court has done is send this issue back to the Third Circuit Court to hear arguments.
Hazelton wants to stop businesses from hiring illegals, and landlords from renting to illegals; effectively making the town not a haven for illegals.  The lower courts have said this is unconstitutional; the Supreme Court has said Not So Fast.  With the Arizona Law being overturned a few weeks ago, there is a very good chance Hazeton will be able to enforce the laws … (5 comments)
