I would like all of you to know about an exciting event that is being co-hosted by the City of Houston this weekend: Gulf Coast Green Expo 2008 @ Reliant Park! The Green Expo is dedicated to connecting consumers with leading companies that provide certified green products, services and materials. Whether your looking for new flooring, energy-efficient appliances or a waterless hot water heater, this expo is sure to have it all. You can also connect with local retailers, distributors and installers - a one stop shop!

This free event will focus on five themes: energy efficiency, green building, renewable energy, alternative transportation and Green Youth Zone. Houston's own Mayor Bill White, a devoted environmentalist, will speak and "how-to" presentations will be offered to homeowners. This event is for the whole family!

I encourage all of you, especially homeowners, to get out and take a look at the products that are available, right now, for improving the environment and leading the way to a more sustainable future. These are the products that buyers will be looking for in homes in the coming years, and that could mean a higher resale value for you!
