"Moral Hazard" a Thing of the Past......What do you think?
Should individuals be held to a higher standard than "Big" business? Companies file bankruptcy all the time and start over, why should you judge and individual for making the same financial decision?
I am referring to this with regards to the housing industry and what many now consider "old school" thinking that, if you took out the loan, you owe on it, it is your obligation and you just don't walk away from your obligation "IF" you can afford it.

This was a recent question that was asked over on Trulia here is my answer.
Fix and flips are happening all over Las Vegas. I've been to the trustee sales and you better be prepared to pay all cash & compete with some heavy hitters. All price ranges are being flipped from the low to the high. The best properties are going to the bidders with the most cash. It is not something to take on without doing a lot of research. Here is an article from DS News on Freddie Mac to Halt Foreclosure Evictions during the Holiday Season
Freddie Mac said Wednesday that it has ordered all foreclosure evictions involving occupied single-family and 2-4 unit properties to be suspended from December 20, 2010 to January 3, 2011. The policy applies to all homes with Freddie Mac mortgages.
This has been typical over the past few years for lenders to hold off on evictions during the holidays, Fannie Mae and others may soon follow.
