What does the term Median Home Price Mean?

You may have seen this term used in the News when reporting on home prices, with a specific price referring to homes sold in any given area.
Basically, Median Home Price is the price at which half of the homes are above that price quoted and half of the homes are below that price quoted.
 
Example :  The homes sold median home price in zip code 89149 was $115,000 for the 30 days prior to April 4, 2011

We are ask this all the time and it really depends on your lender.   I have had a successfulLas Vegas Short Salego thru where the homeowner had not missed a payment and the lender did not require it, as it was a legitimate job transfer to another state, but that maybe the exception. 
But, I have had many of the lenders tell the seller and I that they would not agree to a short sale since the seller was Not late and in order for the short sale to go thru they would have to pay off the debt in full, in … (0 comments)

Well, it has been over a year and a half since I wrote a blog on how to find out if the home your renting is in foreclosure.....

1.  Go to Clark County Assessor page .. type in the address,  just street # and street name should do it then hit submit (tip: don't put in the word street or ave etc as it won't work, just the street name)
