The Paso Robles Zinfandel Festival will be held all weekend starting on March 19th, but the main event will be held on March 20th from 5:30 - 9:30 pm in Commercial Building 2 at the Paso Robles Event Center. Zinfully Important Person Tickets are $85, and the Zin Fan Del Tickets are $60. You can purchase tickets at www.pasowine.com or call (800) 549-WINE.

Next time you are visiting Paso Robles, be sure to at least go wine tasting at Justin Winery. It is a tad out of the way on the west side of Paso, but it is well worth the drive. The scenery is beautiful and the wines exquisite.
Justin & Deborah Baldwin purchased the 160 acres in the Adelaide Valley that would become Justin Vineyards in 1981. Seventy-two acres would be planted in grapes in 1982. Sometime between 1982 and 1983, the Baldwins began construction on the winery.

Well, Folks, this will be brief. Boz Scaggs is headlining tonight for Jazz Night at the Midstate Fair. We were lucky enough to inherit 2 tickets for a table on the main floor (okay, it is dirt, but it is a table) a couple of days ago, so we will be leaving here in another hour or so to enjoy the evening. There are no less than 15 wine tasting rooms and wine bars within walking distance of historic downtown Paso Robles. During the month of August, these tasting rooms will be banding together every Saturday night from 5:00 to 7:00 pm to offer not only wine tasting but also a sampling of local artists and musicians. A handful of the vendors will be offering appetizers, but not to worry.... There are several fine restaurants along the route.
