Despite local news to the contrary (sellers are afraid to put their houses on the market because the market is "down" or "weak" or "home prices have tumbled"), it really is a good time to sell.  Inventory is low, especially at certain price points, which can create a sense of urgency in buyers (and there are still lots of buyers out there looking!).  Overall days on the market are down over last year at this time.  And average, median and highest prices are actually up somewhat in Cambridge!  We also are seeing multiple offer situations for attractive, reasonably priced properties!
