While I cannot speak for other Real Estate markets; but in the Washington DC market we have a form that (some) agents use called the "Financial Information Sheet". This form is meant to be completed by the buyer and basically discloses the entire financial information of the buyer(s). Salary; Employment status; Employer; Assets;
