wht I should love my Job - 09/27/11 06:43 PM
I love my Real Estate Career . Every day some thing interesting and new happening. This is total learning process every single day. I would like to share one of my cases that brought tears to my eyes and my client. I met this very Intelligent lady back in 2007. She was looking at one of my rental unit and the price was little too high for rent back then. It was one bedroom unit is Shaw in Washington DC NW and they were asking $1800 for it. She liked the place but she did not liked the price . We (4 comments)
Washington DC Housing Market - 09/25/11 11:06 AM
Whatever people hear on the news does not imply to each market. For example, people hear all the negative information on the news and take them to heart and imply it into any market. I can say in Washington DC all the news we hear does not imply to us at all. Washington DC has very healthy market and people buy homes all the time. Yesterday I took out one of my clients out showing homes and he asked me about what is my predication about our market. I told him, see all I can tell you are base of (1 comments)
I had one case happen to me recently, and made me think a lot about how could I have done things differently in order to have happy campers?
I have had a very good communication with them and I felt everything going right. We went out few times in very hot weather in July and we looked at several homes that they liked. (Summer in Washington DC gets really disgusting and HOT, Just for your Information) Anyway, after few times going out, they picked up a house that they liked and they wanted to make an offer. The house (8 comments)
Interest rates have hit another bottom past week and prices at least in Washington Dc area are still affordable and some areas are real stables. Usually my clients ask me where they should invest their money and some ask is it a good time to buy a home. Seriously let’s talk about it. I always believe in Real Estate market, ( I guess no wonder I sell homes, that should say something about me) so I guess asking me where they should invest their money should or should not be a right person to ask. Honesty no matter when and (4 comments)
Shaw neighborhood in Washington dc is one of the interesting neighborhoods in entire Washington dc. I do live in Shaw/ east Logan Circle and have been witnessing the progress in this particular part of town. From U St NW / Florida Ave NW & down toward downtown area, where Georgia Ave NW and 7th ST NW separate the neighborhoods, we have been seeing major constructions along 7th street NW next to the Shaw Howard University Metro . They are working continuously to upgrade the neighborhood with commercial spaces along with retail stores that would come up along 7th ST NW. (0 comments)
When I meet with my buyers I always tell them that the most important thing in this process is to eliminate. The more you eliminate the best one that you wanted to see you will see. Also, Lately I noticed that buyers usually caught up with the price and not monthly payment. When I tell them in this market every $1000 you borrow you will spend about $4-$5 per months. You see, after all you have to make sure you can live with your payment and not the whole price. When buyers, especially first time home buyer understand that no matter what (4 comments)
