Halloween weekend in Chesapeake Virginia Beach Williamsburg and Norfolk - 10/28/10 03:01 PM
I have three kids, 6 years apart, so I am always looking for a variety of inexpensive activities for them. There is a lot going on in Hampton Roads for Halloween. If you are not a Halloween celebrator plenty of churches are having Harvest Ball activities. In Chesapeake you can visit Greenbrier Community Church for an alternative to Trick or Treating. They are hosting a party called Trunk or Treat from Sun Oct 31st 6-8pm, Open to the Public. In Norfolk at TownPointe Park Sat Oct 30th from 10am-3pm, is Hallowpalooza, Admission is Free, Open to all, there will be a (1 comments)
How to get rid of Ghosts in Hampton Roads Homes - 10/26/10 10:06 AM
If you have sold a haunted house here is some info to pass on to the homeowners!!!!! I live down the street from a cemetary so I am always ghost sensitive. I bought my home new and as an agent I know that In Virginia we DO NOT have to disclose stigmatized properties. Stigmatized property is a term used in the real estate business which describes possible detrimental features of a property or home, all the result of unfortunate occurrences. These can include murder, suicide, and the belief or proof that a house may be haunted by real ghosts. Just in (2 comments)

We did it in 15 days, we have more members and have surpassed the group VA-Rain. This is great and will help generate Google Juice for this area. Our next goal is to pass the Virginia group! Can we do it? Lets start by telling our coworkers and vendors what we have accomplished so quickly!!!!! Get them blogging and reading post. I learn something new everyday guaranteed here in the Rain. Try to devote 10 minutes a day to reading and commenting on post. And if your brave (there is no risk) we would love to read a post from you! Better agents (2 comments)

Hampton Roads Homeowners and Real Estate Professionals are invited to celebrate Fall and the Outdoors at the Chesapeake Arboretum. It is a Free event taking place SATURDAY Oct 23rd noon to 3pm, located at 624 Oak Grove Rd Chesapeake. There will be a variety of family oriented activities, a hay bale, trail walks, tree climbing, crafts, artist, and Ecofriendly exhibits. Stop by for a little bit of fun! The Chesapeake Arboretum is 48 acres of trails, trees, gardens, and forest.
