I'm keeping it simple for next year, these are My Ten Commandments for 2009. 1. Get more exercise: OK This is on my list every year since high school but next year I will add a dance class or trip to my neighborhood gym at least twice a week to coincide with my in home work outs. I think the combination of getting out to be with other people and exercising will do me much good in 09. 2. Someone just emailed me to ask about the differences in real estate insurance. Let me clarify when buying a home there are many different kinds of insurance. 1. Hazard/Fire Insurance-required to have, protects you for fire and wind, extra coverages can be added as needed or required, flood, earthquake, upgraded coverages,etc.... Paid in your monthly payment on VA, FHA, and most less than 25% down LTV Conv loans. 2. PMI/with MIP- Private Mortgage Insurance- Required on CONV and FHA Loans usually where the buyer puts down less than 20% -its purpose is to help the lender if the buyer defaults on the loan-the premium

norfolk homes: Local Craigslist Scam BEWARE Virginia Beach renters, sellers, and owners - 11/04/08 01:36 PM
I'm now a CRAIGSLIST FRAUD Victim! Go Check your listings. I have a home for sale on Craigslist in Virginia Beach, VA that has been copied and rewritten and presented on another ad on craigslist as a rental. The new rental ad has my homes photos and most of my verbiage from the original ad, the contact info is a simple reply email addess set up with my name to a yahoo account I have never had. The rent price is so low anyone would be interested in the property. When you reply to the craigslist ad you get this email

Hampton Roads had been lucky so far with a steady flow of sales the foreclosure crisis was not often thought about in this part of Southern, VA. Now Foreclosures in Hampton Roads are on the rise and now a sizeable portion of our Multiple Listing Service MLS inventory. According to the Pilot Online and RealtyTrac-"The number of foreclosure-related notices in Hampton Roads was 922 in September, up 48 percent from August and nearly 352 percent from year-ago levels, according to RealtyTrac, an online foreclosure-monitoring service based in Irvine, Calif". So what does this mean for buyers in Hampton Roads? THERE ARE GREAT HOME
