If you watched the poor Denver Broncos get crushed by the Oakland Raiders yesterday, you know that the only good thing that came from watching that game were the shots of the skiers at opening day at Loveland Ski Area. And with today being opening day at Arapahoe Basin this storm (2 comments)

Beautiful Day in Bachelor Gulch, CO - 10/09/10 03:20 PM
This morning I went to one of our listings to turn lights on, open blinds, and get the place ready for a showing. The listing is at Hummingbird Lodge in Bachelor Gulch, Penthouse Residence C-302.
While there, I had to step out on the balcony and take this photo with my iPhone. With a dusting of snow on Gore Range and the last of the color on the Aspen trees, I had my breath taken away with this view!
Then, on my drive back home I caught two young deer crossing the road and munching some breakfast. Their mom (3 comments)
Certain buyers signal the bottom of the market has been achieved and it's time to buy - 10/09/10 10:41 AM
Is now the right time to buy? Has the market "hit bottom"? We are seeing smart buyers create their own bottom by making offers on homes for sale in the Vail Valley Real Estate market. Now is a great time to buy! Via Steve Loynd, Alpine Lakes Real Estate Inc., Loon Mt, NH.: Anyone who has a good grasp of their local market and has been in Real Estate for more than 10 minutes recognize who are the big players in their area. A call from a business man with the Midas touch, got me thinking the signal just went from yellow to green, (0 comments)

What's in a Name? - 10/03/10 11:54 PM
"What's in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet." -Romeo and Juliet (II, ii, 1-2) Is that necessarily true? True, a rose would still smell great and look great if we called it the blood petal plant, but would we really think of it the same without the pretty name "rose"? I ask this question because I've been dealt an interesting name card. My name is Didi Doolittle. "Don't let my last name fool you, I won't Doolittle, I'll Do A Lot!" That was my catch phrase from Jr. High School when (12 comments)
Vail, CO Snow Storm? - 10/02/10 10:34 PM
I was just looking through some of my Autumn photos from years past here in Vail, and ran across my 'first snow' photo from 2006. Luckily I had date stamped the photo, 9/24/2009. Hard to believe the Gore Range was completely covered in snow in September of 2006. After seeing this photo, I got so excited for the coming ski season that I checked the Weather Channelto see when we should expect our first storm. We don't have long to wait! We're expecting some lower temps at night and moisture in the air starting tomorrow. It could turn to some white stuff (2 comments)

Loads of people are finding it essential to be frugal because of the recession and lack of jobs which is common in the world today. In tough times, it is extremely tempting to utilize funds such as those tied up in your home equity. You need to be (3 comments)
