Bankers move to ease global credit crisis - 01/12/08 12:17 PM
Financial institutions struggle to sort out troubled balance sheets.  Banks are trying to do what they can to get through the mess.  Past easy type credit was a matter of pushing reserves into the banking system, but this shot gun method increases inflationary pressure.  The feds will be using a rifle approach by conducting multiple auctions.  This solution may push inflationary pressures even higher.
