Clear Snow From Sidewalks, But Don't Leave it in the Road - 12/16/07 12:59 PM
You see it everywhere. As soon as the weather clears, homeowners shovel or blow snow from their driveways and sidewalks. It's the responsible, and often legally mandated, thing to do. After all, we don't want anyone slipping and falling on an untended sidewalk. Moving snow is an arduous task, and those who get out there promptly should be applauded for their efforts. That is, unless they shovel or blow all that snow out onto the public roadway. It may not seem like much, but snow spread on the roadway presents a public hazard.
