I want to first mention the fact that I hate the word Diet and have for years. I am a firm believer of life style change, diets start and stop but a life style change is forever, of course if you make it one.
When comparing the word diet to your schedule though it's a good analogy.  We all have a schedule and whether it be Outlook, a planner, our blackberry, Iphone or just an old fashion calendar on our desk we  often don't even look at them or get off schedule every single day. I currently sell real estate so you could say I have my own business. I am the employee and the boss. It makes it hard when you are both because you have to be a very disciplined person for sure.  You cannot call in sick, you cannot go play golf, you cannot go shopping, well you can but you won't be making any money that day.
