A massive light industrial development is in the works for land west of the Prince George Airport.
Henry Rempel, a businessman based in New Westminster who owns apartment buildings and townhouses in Prince George, is heading an effort to assemble 900 hectares in the area and has hired L&M Engineering of Prince George to guide the venture over the bureaucratic hurdles.

Single women are diving into home marketAlthough traditionally considered less inclined to buy homes than other demographics, single women of all ages are continuing to knock down barriers by purchasing real estate and tackling home repairs in droves.
According to the new Royal LePage Female Buyers Report, 30 per cent of single, never-before married women own their own home. For divorced or separated women that proportion is 45 per cent, and for widowed women it's 64 per cent.

New Map of my listings and more... - 04/16/07 04:12 PM
I have just posted and updated my Map of Prince George BC. I have added some schools and other info as well as locations of my listings. I use both google maps and google earth as great tools to help my clients find locations of property as well as become familliar with the layout if they are from out of town. The Prince George Real Estate market is very active at this time.

MLS Stats for Prince George BC - Mar.06 to Mar.07 - 04/04/07 12:09 AM
I just did up the MLS Stats for Prince George BC for March 2006 to March 2007 and posted them to my website under 'PG in the News' (2007). You will see that we have had great consistant growth and the future is bright for our city. I believe Prince George BC will become a very important distribution hub which in turn will attract manufacturing businesses of all kinds.

CN Rail announce a $20 Million ... in Prince George BC Canada - 04/01/07 01:52 PM
Great News for PG. This is not new news as we have been expecting this announcment for some time but it is nice to finally see something in writting. CN announced yesterday March 30th that it will be constructing a C$20-million transload operation and intermodal rail terminal on the 1st Ave location in Prince George, B.C. They say they will be using it for the export of containerized products to and from Asian markets through the new Port of Prince Rupert, B.C., rail/maritime intermodal facility.
