CMHC - Prince George Housing Market Update - 06/07/07 12:09 AM

I just posted this report by Andy Ni (CMHC Northern BC Market Analyst) on my website www.DeanBirks.com under "PG in the News"
Here is a direct link to it. If you have or no off someone wanting to invest or better yet moving to Prince George give me a ring or email. Prince George is one of the nicest cities with a great life style and cost of living is very reasonable.

Vacancy rates drop and rents rise, says CMHC
(Breaking News) June 6,2007 Prince George Citizen
Apartments and townhouses for rent in Prince George are continuing to become scarcer and more expensive according to the latest report from Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation.
The vacancy rate for such accommodation dropped to 2.1 per cent as of April from 2.7 per cent six months before while the average rent rose by $24 to $619 per month.
Province-wide the vacancy rate held steady at 1.2 per cent but the average rent rise by $19 to $816 per month.

New Golf Course in Prince George - 06/01/07 10:07 AM

Well it is in the works with the first 'Open House' last night at the Civic Center to show where and how the new 18 hole Golf coarse will be located. The Prince George Golf and Curling club will have over 3 times the land from their present location. A great development for the North side of the city.
