I have not posted a blog her for months because I have burnt out on real estate. It was fairly predictable that this should happen. I started my career at a late age after being a marketing rep in the corporate arena (blech!).
I got into real estate in mid-2004, just before the boom. During the boom, I was still learning the ropes, so missed a lot of the action!
By the time my skills were up to snuff (it can take a long time to REALLY learn the business), the "bubble" had burst.

I think this is a good example of the reason many people cannot clear their clutter.
This cat was recently given to me by my mother. She said it belonged to her mother and that it was a "lucky cat" full of nickels.
When I brought it home I had absolutely no idea what to do with it, so it sat on a dresser for several months. Just today I decided it has to go down to the basement (yes, some old houses in Santa Cruz have basements).

I have a graduate degree in psychology and I have always been interested in individual human behavior, as well as social and cultural issues. As part of my own educational, emotional and spiritual process, I went through a period of evaluating my values. I found the source of my values mostly to be from my Catholic Church indoctrination, as well as the Judeo-Christian origins of the public school system (I wrote three chapters of a doctoral dissertation on this subject - never to finish - but the point is don't get me started on the subject of public schools!)
