First Annual Foothills (NC) Outdoor Sports Fest! - 03/08/11 03:40 PM
 
The Burke County  (NC) Tourism Development Authority is making plans to promote the weekend of April 16-17, 2011 as the First Annual Foothills Outdoor Sports Fest. Co-sponsored by Blue Ridge Outdoors Magazine, the "Fest" is made up of several different events around the Morganton/Valdese area that weekend.
Saturday, April 16, the weekend will kick off in Valdese with the Valdese Sprint Triathlon starting at 9 am. Triathlon registration and more information is available at www.setupevents.com .
