Romance Novelist Nora Roberts aka J.D. Robb grew up in this adorable bungalow off of Sligo Avenue near the heart of Downtown Silver Spring. This area used to be known as "Takoma Park" and is now known as North Takoma Park with a Silver Spring Address. Nora Roberts' real name is Eleanor M Robertson and her 85+ year old mother still owns this house. She grew up the youngest and "an only girl", with a slew of brothers, who still live in the area.
