A Spectacular Event for all ages:Every year for the past 5 years South Silver Spring has had it's popular Street Fest! This year will mark the the event's 6th year! The event starts at noon and runs till 6 p.m. on Saturday (tomorrow) September 29th, 2012. Events unfold on Kennett Street by Acorn Park (off East-West Highway) in Downtown South Silver Spring. This festival features dozens of local artisans, a beer and craft cocktail garden, food from local restaurants, a Moon Bounce, Pet Adoptions (my personal favorite) and two performance stages showcasing this locale's favorite musicians.
