As I sit here and write this post I am gazing out at the light dancing on the water on Cotton Bayou in Orange Beach on the beautiful Alabama coast. Oh, right you say, THAT is a good reason to be weary! Nope, THAT has been a blessing, a place to run away to and renew my spirit. What? Dogs can't blog. Well Sugar does! You see Sugar is Bimbo's cousin and like Bimbo, Sugar likes to hang out with everyone and be part of the crowd. He will be visiting throughout the city atop a firetruck!

Yesterday was my 55th birthday and it was GREAT! There is so much talk about how great social media is for networking, whether it be for friendship or business, but yesterday I realized something else GREAT about it.
Everyone you know can wish you a Happy Birthday! With a click of a mouse you can receive "Happy Birthday" messages, cards, virtual gifts and even a virtual birthday cake! How fun is that!
So that is how I started my birthday. Reading all of my birthday emails and Facebook greetings, I was feeling very special indeed!

According to the Primary Mortgage Market Survey®published today at Freddiemac.com the average rate in the Southeast on a 30 Year Conventional Fixed Mortgage is at 5.24% and 4.95% for a 15 Year term. Of course these rates can vary a bit from lender to lender but these are incredible Mortgage loan interest rates!
