northern michigan real estate: Couch to 5K - 03/25/11 08:27 AM
Hello Fellow AR Members. I'm just curious if any one out there has actually tried the Couch to 5K.. (c25k). My daughter(Kate) was home over the weekend and suggested I should get more exercise and this would be an excellent program for me to try. She's actually going to do it herself.
I went on line and there's a lot of info about the program. I printed workout schedule and have ordered my Vibram Five Finger running shoes. Due in tomorrow. If you've never seen Vibram's shoes. northern michigan real estate: Winter Wonderland in Northern Michigan - 03/13/11 05:12 PM
Today, I woke up to another 3 inches of freshly fallen snow. That makes 6 inches in the past 3 days. As I sip my cup of coffee, I decided to take a peek and see exactly what Mother Nature chose to share. To my amazement, my yard was turned into a Christmas Postcard, in March. It was so beautiful, even without the sunshine, I had to take a photo and share. Hope you enjoy.

I, like many grandparents across the country don't live next door to my grandchildren. When they come to visit during holidays, sometimes they leave their finger prints on the door wall facing the lake. I can honestly say there's been times I wouldn't wash that door wall for months, just being able to see their little hands would make me smile.

This poor real estate agent had a full head of hair before he started working on his first Short Sale. Now he's hairless, can't eat and is about to blow the deal, all because he had no idea how to deal with a Short Sale.
Business is NOT as usual, anymore.

Needless to say, this home isn't in my neck of the woods, Northern Michigan.
Do you know where it is?
It's really rather amazing. It's construction is concrete. The concrete fencing around the home actually has 1000's of sea shells inlaid into the wall. Tropical plants decorate the yard and a concrete walkway curves to the homes front door. This home was definitely worth stopping the taxi driver so I could add this home photo to my ever growing "unique things" album.

Do you know where this clever deer resides?
Have you seen this uniquely carved deer in your travels, as you traverse our picturesque Northern Michgian. This is one deer you won't have to worry about ending up as a hood orniment. Northern Michigan is full of hidden surpises, be it a cleverly crafted mailbox, an orimental fence, a creative birdhouse on a fence post...the list goes on and on.
