New Storm Brings Increased Danger To The High Country (And A Nice Picture) - 02/28/12 05:40 PM
New Storm Brings Increased Danger To The High Country (And A Nice Picture). In most of the Western Mountain areas of Colorado up two new feet of heavy snow fell over the course of last night and today. This means the avalanche danger is at a high level. The strong winds are also adding to this problem.
This comes directly from the Colorado Avalanche Center....The avalanche danger is HIGH (Level 4) in all avalanche terrain today. Natural avalanches are likely and human-triggered are very likely. Some of these avalanches could be some of the largest we've seen this season. Back-country travel … (16 comments)

Now That's A Lot Of Bull - 02/25/12 02:31 PM
Now That's A Lot Of Bull. Hopefully I've got your attention, and now let's direct it to the High Wire Ranch in Hotchkiss, Colorado. It's so neat to just drive by this ranch and see all the elk and bison they raise. In the fall the elk are sporting their large racks (antlers) and it's really something to see.
On this particular day the elk were playing it cool away from the road. But the buffalo are also really something to see. Dave and Sue Whittlesey own High Wire Ranch and have been raising buffalo since 1981 and elk since 1987. All of the animals are grass … (26 comments)

increase your success Buying Foreclosures - 02/16/12 02:18 AM
When you are buying a house "as is" or, "where is" that means that what you see is what you get, and what you don't see is what you get. Keep this in mind when buying a foreclosure, or any house. A home inspection is always recommended.

The basic social contract of personal responsibility is to Repay bad debt??? - 02/16/12 01:49 AM
This blog left me with mixed feelings. It hits home with me on a few points, but this situation isn't black or white. There is no one entity to blame. It comes down to a system that failed and needs to be re examined. Please thank Paul Francis for the original blog. I just thought I would re-share a view point with all of you.

Are you driving your marketing home? - 02/11/12 12:35 AM
The great play on words credit belongs to John McCormack, of Albuquerque Homes Realty, as does the original blog. I've always wondered how other agents feel about this type of marketing. That means we are going to have 9 more months of candidate bashing, my side is better than your side, what a candidate ate for lunch, what a candidate's spouse is wearing today and fights with your neighbor over who is going to win this November and your political yard sign is encroaching on my political yard sign.
