What's In Your Weed...CO to Consider Organic Marijuana Standards Just as Colorado was the first state to legalize recreational marijuana sales, it's now trying to lead the way in creating organic standards for the herb. If approved new laws would put into place standards to be met before the pot can be sold or presented as organic.
