Having Just Lost A Beloved Family Pet This Poem Means So Much. After ten years, we said goodbye to Chaco for the last time. Chaco was a large mixed breed puppy that I adopted from the local animal shelter just over 10 years ago. His illness was sudden and the vet coudn't determine why he became paralyzed.
