The Orlando Area is home to some of Golf's greatest players and courses, if you live here long enough you'll end up playing yourself, I did.  I was introduced to the game by one of my favorite customers, Dean Stromwall.  He was kind enough to spend some time with me on the range and I was hooked, and my drives were too.

Yes, you're right, Orlando is not on the coastline - I noticed.  But, in less than an hour you can be on my favorite Florida beaches in your chair soaking up the sun and listening to the waves crashing on the shore.  The best of both worlds, yes... you just might be onto something.

New Smyrna Beach Panama City Beach St. Augustine Beach Boca Grande/Sanibel Island Islamorada/The Florida Keys The sand and the surf are two of the reasons that I moved to Florida over 20 years ago.

I know, everyone thought I was going to the beach or Disney next... but, I had to make a quick stop at Kennedy Space Center.
Goose Bumps...  That's what you get when you watch the Space Shuttle launch at Kennedy Space Center.  I've been inside the VAB (Vehicle Assembly Building) and been up close to the Shuttle and it's simply amazing.  A real life Space Ship encounter right here in Central Florida.
There is always a feeling of excitement on launch day as you can see the glow of the engine thrusters all the way to Orlando.  I'll never forget the … (6 comments)

Welcome to my new series of posts about "Why I Love Living in Orlando Area"- I moved to Florida in 1986 from Whidbey Island, WA and have never looked back.  What keeps me here? Subscribe to my blog to find out...  You might even start thinking that you want to move to Florida too.
