The holidays are a busy time of the year. It's understandable to assume that real estate buyers are too busy to search for a new home, but that's not always the case. December has often been one of our busiest months, and this year is no exception. We're closing four homes this month, and helped a client secure a new-construction home that will be ready next year. If you want to sell your home, make sure it evokes emotion.
This past week, we been in a number of luxury homes in Clark County, WA. Two different families are trying to find the perfect retreat for extended family living. We specialize in multi-generational family solutions, therefore we tour a lot of larger homes, or homes with second dwellings on acreage. 
Most of the homes are prices from about $700 and above. Generally speaking, homes closer to the million dollar mark have more bells and whistles and high end finishes, in addition, they tend to have the most stunning views.

When it's time to Say Goodbye to a House you Love.
I fell in love with the property on my first visit. The 100 year-old farm house shone with careful restoration and charm.  The acreage that surrounded it was dotted with heirloom fruit trees and organic pathways winding through a variety of flower and veggie gardens.
The owner, and mother of one of my recent clients, wanted my opinion as to its value.  True comps were hard to find, but we came up with a plan for pricing. However, after a long interview, we determined she wasn’t emotionally ready to sell.
