Exploring Clark County - Have you ever been kissed by a butterfly? Butterfly populations around the world are shrinking. While most of us would miss the aesthetics of the butterfly, it’s wise to remember that this beautiful insect also plays an important role in our eco-system. 

Butterflies, while not as important as bees at this job, do play a role in the pollination process. Without pollination, the fruits and vegetables we now enjoy in abundance, would become less available and more expensive.
