With summer bearing down on us here in Central Texas everyone in Indian Lake is looking forward to the community pool opening up for land and homeowner use! Indian Lake is a small private lake community a few miles oustide of Smithville Texas. Indian Lake has a nice community center with a large playground, fishing dock, grills, cabanna, bathrooms and of course a community pool which is scheduled to open on April 30th this year. Since this is a private pool they will be checking for pool passes so don't forget to bring yours!

I have a new listing to share with you, a very cute and recently remodeled SWM in the private lake community of Indian Lake, just a few miles outside of Smithville TX. This community offers lake privledges for non motorized vehicles, great for fishing as it is periodically stocked, and wonderful for canoeing or kayaking. There is a clubhouse area that has barbque facilities, a pavillion, playground, basketball half court and a swimming pool. This is a very relaxed community and a great getaway from the busy city life but is within commuting distance to Austin being about 35 miles away.

Indian Lake is a gem of an area if you are looking for somewhere to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The entry to Indian Lakes is located off of FM 153 just a few miles outside of Smithville, approx. 45 minutes from Austin and an hour plus from San Antonio or Houston. The subdivision has a pool, park, fishing dock, boat ramp and a very relaxed atmosphere. There is a mixed bag of housing both site built and manufactured.
