In today's economy there are more and more homes being made available for lease. A number of different factors can be involved in this increase in lease inventory from owners relocating following work, or people who need to downsize their lifestyles but can't sell their homes, or investors who have inventory they need to turn, or properties purchased as rental investments through short sales or foreclosures.

I have a new listing to share with you, a very cute and recently remodeled SWM in the private lake community of Indian Lake, just a few miles outside of Smithville TX. This community offers lake privledges for non motorized vehicles, great for fishing as it is periodically stocked, and wonderful for canoeing or kayaking. There is a clubhouse area that has barbque facilities, a pavillion, playground, basketball half court and a swimming pool. This is a very relaxed community and a great getaway from the busy city life but is within commuting distance to Austin being about 35 miles away.

I have a client looking for a horse property to lease in Central Texas.....
