Its is so interesting how many people wonder how Realtors are surviving in today's economic climate. I find myself discussing the state of the economy and real estate on a daily basis with clients, friends and just random people. I tell everyone of them the same thing...every area of the country has felt and is feeling different constraints on its local economy.
Here in Texas we have weathered the storm pretty well all around. People are still finding reasons to relocate here with the influx of corporate giants moving their operations base to Texas. In the Dallas market alone we have corporate head quarters such as Tuesday Morning, JcPenney, Radio Shack, Blockbuster, Papa Johns, Dave and Busters, Fossil, Michael's Arts & Crafts and many many more. In addition to relocation we have a strong new home construction market in the DFW area that has faired pretty well during the housing crisis and is now on the rebound with builder sales increasing over the last few months. So with the grow of Texas business, the growth of Texas population and a the strengthening Texas economy the Texas real estate market is stable and growing. It is a very exciting time for Realtors in the Dallas Fort Worth real estate arena.
