Your Vendors are a Reflection Upon YOU! As if we don't have enough trouble getting deals through these days--with short sales, lending restrictions and just plain irritated sellers (and even a few demanding buyers!), we have to deal with the age-old problem of inexperienced inspectors!
Upon listing an older home, I advise (but, don't insist) the sellers get a (pre-)home inspection and attack the repair list prior to making their listing active.  These smart sellers of mine recently did just that and found that they had well-maintained the property for years and there were very few items that needed to be … (78 comments)
