Speechless Sunday - We're READY!
My fur babies are certainly enjoying all of the extra attention they get throughout the holidays! I was tidying up today before company was to arrive this evening and was being followed around as I blitzed through the house, by these two cuties. They are SO ready for any company that comes through our doors!

What a wonderful Christmas Eve!  Company over for some holiday cheer...  The packages are all wrapped (finally!), Boston butt, Turducken and turkey are prepped for an early rise and lots of cooking tomorrow morning! Vegetable dishes, enough baked goods to feed an army and appetizers are made. Oh yes, the tables are set for about 20 tomorrow!  We are READY!
 
And, finally...the stockings are hung by the chimney with care--now filled--and Santa is off to BED!

Wordless Wednesday - Wishing You an Old Fashioned Christmas
I love photography and playing with shots that I've taken - improving the HDR, improving the lighting and, of course, cropping out unwanted 'extras' in photos! I was trying to show a lit tree in a 'good light' and was just having no luck! So, I decided to turn our Carolina Panther blue tree into something timeless and a bit old fashioned!

In a world of total transparency and keeping up with social media and networking, I thought this video was a holiday spot-on example of how we function these days!  This video makes one realize just how everything we do from now on will be 'recorded' in history.  Had Facebook been around back then, there would be no doubters!
