I just left a meeting that John Sebree, a FAR representative, talked about the new tax reform. It is enlightenment! There may be a light at the end of the tunnel yet.  You can view his speech at www.floridarealtors.org"tax reform".  It is no news to us that the real estate market is caused by property taxes, home owners insurance and the MEDIA. He summed it up very well.  Not to mention the politicians that like to confuse the public with their verbiage.

We all enjoyed the boom in 2005 of the real estate market. We knew it was not going to last.  Now, we can all agree to just let it be normal.

Almost every day, we are asked from our clients "how much will my property taxes be?" Or "how much will the home owners insurance be?".  I have done several contracts subject to the "affordability" of finding these answers.  As a Realtor, I search to find all the answers to their concerns to the best of my ability.
