I Am Thankful for Cozy Evenings With My Family! - 11/29/08 09:22 PM
This evening, my husband and I are enjoying our cozy family room with a blazing fire in the fireplace and 3 of our children (17, 20, and 21).
We're eating popcorn and watching the movie "Wall-E" together.  Last night we played games together......
It is so nice to have my son home from college and to be able to spend some time together.  I'm glad that we all get along and that the kids enjoy being together.
I am truly blessed...  :)

I'm Thankful For My 2 Marine Nephews Home Safe For Thanksgiving Day! - 11/28/08 08:36 PM
I'd like to share that I am thankful that my 2 Marine nephews got to come home to their families this Thanksgiving!  I am so thankful that they are safe and doing well.  I am also thankful that they are in the states right now and not in Iraq or some other dangerous place.

A Day of Thankfulness! - 11/26/08 10:13 PM
Ha ppy Thanksgiving, everyone!  I'm curious... Are you going to a friend/relative's home, or are you having friends/relatives to your home?
My family is going to my parents' home.   My parents, my brother's family of 12 (ten kids), my sister's family of 8 (6 kids), and my family of 6 (4 kids) all live in the area.
When we get together...it's a huge affair!  We've done this ever since the kids were babies, so it's tradition.
(Tradition!  TRADITION!   TRADITION! - Sorry to break out in song...)      :)
My kids have said that they just love this tradition.                                                
Anyway, I'd like to hear about your traditions!             Just curious...    :)

 from the C-Q Press.

My Nice Little Market Reports Have Lost Their Organized "Chart-Look"! - Help! - 11/23/08 01:18 PM
Is there a technical expert out there that can help me with my new problem? 
I have been posting market reports for a while now.  I have this neat, organized chart that is easy to read.
Well, yesterday, I was informed by Elizabeth Weintraub (Thanks, Elizabeth!) that my market report was difficult to read.
I checked it out and found out that all of my market reports have lost their organization and are in chaos!
Does anybody know why?  I would appreciate any help...Thank You!  :)

Woo!  Hoo!  Gas prices are dropping again! The lowest I've seen it is at the Hucks gas station on Main Street in O'Fallon, Missouri.

My daughter Alisha is having her 20th birthday on November 24. Her cousins Elisabeth (far left) and Joy (far right) decided to have a surprise birthday party for her last Friday.  Boy, was she surprised!  Also in the picture - Amanda (second from left), Charity, and Alisha (second from right).

Many gas stations in O'Fallon, Missouri have $1.79/gallon gas prices!  Can you believe it?

Gas prices at the BP gas station in Wentzville, MIssouri have dropped to $1.78/gallon!

Well, it's the Thanksgiving season - It's the time of year when people aren't thinking about themselves. They're thinking about their blessings and what they have to be thankful for.
People are looking outside of themselves and seeing the needs of others and meeting those needs.
Families are getting together, realizing how much they love and need each other.

Did you know that Missouri has voted for the winning presidential candiate every time since 1900 (except 1956)?
Well, this year, John McCain and Sarah Palin won in Missouri.  This means that Missouri didn't pick the winning candidate this year.

Voter Turnout Highest in History in St. Charles County, Missouri. - 11/05/08 03:04 PM
St. Charles County, Missouri had its highest voter turnout in history this election.  85.5% of registered voters cast their vote yesterday.
I think that's pretty exciting!  I wish this was true of every election.   :)

I heard that the lines were really looooong and that some people were standing in line for over an hour.

This weekend our family went to Strong Tower Ranch in Wright City, Missouri.  It was a fun-filled family time of cowboys, indians, maidens...

 There was a chili cook-off, door prizes, a petting zoo, and more!
It was a beautiful day - 74 degrees - and I believe fun was had by all!  :)
