I've been telling you all the story of selling my beloved horse Blade.  Well, this is the final chapter...
Yesterday, the lady I told you about last week (who had to talk to her husband about Blade) came by to pick up Blade in a nice trailer.
She had a straight-load trailer (Blade is used to a slant-load.), and her trailer is a step-up (Blade is used to a ramp.).
I had told her how well he loaded and trailered, but when I saw how different her trailer was from mine, I was just a little concerned...

I told you all about my horse Blade and the fact that I have to sell him, right?  Well, I thought I'd give you an update...
I've had some interest in him, and yesterday, a nice young lady came by the ranch to look at him.  She seemed to like him, and I think that they might be a good fit for each other.  She knows a lot about horses and rides more "English" than I do, but Blade was trying to figure her out and do as she asked.

  This is my Arabian
                                                                                                                        gelding, Blade.
   He really is a sweetheart.  He's very curious and mischievous and smarter than you'd think a horse should be.  He also has a heart of gold...
  I was loping him in the indoor ring the other day - I rode too close to one of the gates, and my bootleg got caught on it - It yanked me off of him and pulled me to the ground...  OUCH!
  When I looked up from the ground, where was Blade...?   He was standing close to me, just looking … (19 comments)
