judge: An Encouraging Word...

Have you ever listened to Dr. Charles Stanley? He is a preacher on a radio program called "In Touch". I really appreciate him. He has a way of sharing God's Word and speaking to your heart. This morning, he was talking about our perception of the Lord. He's not a distant, unloving judge, but a God of grace. Anyway, I couldn't do his sermon justice. This is a tribute to my mom: Mom, you are not just my mother, you are my closest friend. I can talk to you about anything. I can truly be myself with you. I don't have to be fakey or try to be somebody I'm not. I can tell you how I really feel about things. You understand me. I guess it's because we're so much alike. You don't judge me. I can say, "no", and you don't think I'm a bad person. I guess what I'm trying to say is...I Love You, Mom! Happy Mother's Day! :)
