I'm happy to say goodbye to 2009 which has been a challenging year for home buyers and sellers.  I feel confident that 2010 will be much better.  The First Time Homebuyer $8000 tax credit has been extended into 2010.  There is now a new, $6500 tax credit for move up/down homebuyers.  Mortgage interest rates are still low (although starting to creep upwards).  Most of the foreclosure inventory is off the books and I believe that local home prices have bottomed out and will start to slowly rise.

XEROX IS DOING SOMETHING COOL!!!
If you go to this web site, www.LetsSayThanks.com you can pick out a thank you postcard and Xerox will print and send it to a military member who is currently serving overseas. You can't pick out who gets it, but it will go to a member of the armed services.

Military DiscountsSince I'm always trying to support the troops, here is the latest list of companies in Pueblo that offer military discounts.  You may have to ASK for the discount and present your military ID but you'll get the discount.  (Thanks to my super shopper Sheilah for this info!)  If you know of more companies, please let me know so I can share the info with all my readers!
