Remembrance and Safety this Memorial Day Weekend - 05/28/10 02:25 PM
This Memorial Day weekend, please pause for a moment and remember the men and women who have given their lives in service to this country. Remember also the men and women of our Armed Forces who are still serving far from home.
We’ve had hundreds of soldiers return to Ft. Carson from Afghanistan the last couple of weeks. If you see them around town, be patient and thank them for their service as they readjust to “normal” life.
Kids are out of school and pools and Pueblo Lake are open. Stay aware, don’t drink and drive, be safe!
