Every year Pueblo celebrates the harvest of the Mira Sol Chile with the Loaf ‘N Jug Chile & Frijoles Festival. The festival was created as a fall event to promote the area's agriculture, especially its home-grown chilies and pinto beans. This fun event now draws over 100,000 visitors. The festival features a farmer's market (where you can stock up on roasted chilies), battle of the bands, Hot-to-Trot 5K-run/2 mile-walk, jalapeno eating contest, chili & salsa showdown, continuous entertainment, street vendors, and so much more!
