Don't forget, clocks fall back an hour on Sunday, November 7.  Be prepared for a dark drive home from work starting next week.
It's a good idea to change the batteries in your smoke detectors when you change from/to daylight savings time.

Colorado's largest gun show comes to Pueblo this weekend!  The Tanner Gun show will be at the Colorado State Fairgrounds in the Kitchen Kraft Bldg/Agriculture Palace.  You can browse through approx. 500 tables of guns, knives, and accessories such as ammunition, hunting and fishing equipment, outdoor gear, military surplus, gun safes, and so much more!

"All Pueblo Reads" is a project designed to get everyone in Pueblo reading and discussing the same book, at the same time (the month of October); promoting dialogue across social, cultural, and generational lines.  The 2010 project features 2007 National Book Award winner, The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-time Indian by Sherman Alexie.

Every year Pueblo celebrates the harvest of the Mira Sol Chile with the Loaf ‘N Jug Chile & Frijoles Festival.  The festival was created as a fall event to promote the area's agriculture, especially its home-grown chilies and pinto beans.  This fun event now draws over 100,000 visitors.  The festival features a farmer's market (where you can stock up on roasted chilies), battle of the bands, Hot-to-Trot 5K-run/2 mile-walk, jalapeno eating contest, chili & salsa showdown, continuous entertainment, street vendors, and so much more!  The Chile & Frijoles Festival is a MUST SEE!
