Dear Deborah....
Why can't I find a home to buy that isn't owned by a bank or in a Short Sale in Canyon or Ada County? 
 
Well that is a good question.....
The reason is that many folks can not sell their homes without doing a short sale as they do not have enough equity....
 
Here are some statistics provided by Hennessy Appraisors and Intermountain MLS

I hear this question every single day....
 
To answer the question I have compiled some data for you

As you can see....
October's numbers are a bit lower than September and August for Ada County...but much better compared to 2010.
Canyon County had more units sold in October than September but less than August's number of units....but … (2 comments)

I can say that I did meet my goals...and even exceeded them...
WHY?  
I really attribute it to a 31 day challege that we did last year!  
Jennifer really offered a great challenge to keep all of us focused on our business
During December it is really easy to get off track....Easy to think that you are taking the holidays off and will get back on track in January...It is easy to quit blogging because "stuff" comes up...so we will reward you for this challenge!!!

This was so moving.... During a class at NARs Convention in Anaheim this morning.. At 11:00 am.. The 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month We stopped the class.. Paused and recognized those who had served and Those who had family serving It was so powerful!! We can not forget to honor these men and women.. Today is Veteran's Day.....
We salute all of you who have served in the Military...
We can't ever take for granted what you have done for all of us...
The freedoms you have fought and won for us are numerous...
Yesterday it brought a tear to my eye as we stopped for lunch
and saw two Navy Boys in full dress uniform...
It was moving to see how handsome and young and proud they were...
My friend Faye and I were in awe!!!
The bravery of these men and women who serve is amazing...
